The offensive line is dealing with injuries that can best be described as putrid. C Juice Scruggs will miss the first game with a hamstring. LG Kenyon Green has been placed on season ending IR. Whispers are that he proved to be a total first round bust. RT Tytus Howard has been out all of camp with a broken hand. Their replacements are strictly off the end of training camp trash heap.

The team needs a number one WR. Will one emerge this year out of the current group of WR Nico Collins, WR John Metchie III, WR Robert Woods, WR Xavier Hutchinson, WR Noah Brown and WR Tank Dell? Metchie plays like he is sick. Both Dell and Hutchinson are rookies. Dell has been excellent in camp.

The good news is that RB Dameon Pierce looks ready to play. He is their best player. A must start for fantasy even with a questionable OL. Same can be said for QB CJ Stroud. CJ has won me over. I am glad we can start watching him play a full game starting week one.

The O is very questionable going into the season. The D though has shown they can play with the big boys. They will have to if the team is going to get off to a decent start.
