The Super Bowl LX Champion Seahawks have masterfully navigated the NFL Draft, turning their limited draft capital into eight new rookies while successfully keeping their compensatory picks safe for 2027. With the draft in the rearview mirror, General Manager John Schneider executed his plan to replace the lost free agents through the draft and a savvy veteran signing.
Here is your updated May fantasy and dynasty outlook for the 2026 Seattle Seahawks.
QB-
The Darnold Stability. QB Sam Darnold remains the unquestioned starter. He was up and down last year, managing zero turnovers during that incredible playoff run, but the team's defensive focus and run-first identity caps his fantasy ceiling.
- Roster Status:
Sam Darnold (Starter), Drew Lock (Backup), Jalen Milroe (Developmental Backup).
- Fantasy Perspective:
Darnold is a high-floor, low-ceiling asset. Dynasty managers should continue to hold or stream him in favorable matchups, but OC Brian Fleury's zone-run scheme limits his top-tier upside.
RB-
The Price is Right. John Schneider indulged himself by drafting Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price with the 32nd overall pick.
- Roster Status:
Price joins a backfield that added RB Emanuel Wilson on a prove-it deal in free agency. RB Zach Charbonnet's recovery timeline from his ACL injury remains a major question mark.
- Fantasy Perspective:
Price is the ultimate target to replace RB Kenneth Walker III's big-play ability. His 21.2% explosive run rate is the absolute best in the draft class, and he ranked first among all running backs in missed tackles forced per play (28.3%). If you play dynasty, Price immediately vaults into the RB1/RB2 conversation based on the volume he will command in Fleury's scheme.
WR-
The JSN Era. Seattle cemented WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba's status as a dynasty cornerstone with a market-resetting 4-year, $168.6M extension.
- Roster Composition:
In fantastic news, the Seahawks also matched the Jacksonville Jaguars' offer sheet to retain restricted free agent WR Jake Bobo. Keeping Bobo preserves a big-bodied blocker who acts as the primary power-slot understudy to WR Cooper Kupp. To add developmental depth behind our expensive starters, the team also drafted WR Emmanuel Henderson Jr. (Kansas) in the 6th round.
- Fantasy Perspective:
JSN is an Elite WR1. Vacated targets lock him in as a volume king through his prime. Kupp remains a safe PPR Flex option, and WR Rashid Shaheed is your boom-or-bust deep threat.
TE-
The Fleury Specialty. With Fleury stepping up as OC, the tight end room is poised for a massive schematic bump, continuing heavy 12 and 13 personnel usage.
- Player Analysis:
TE AJ Barner remains the foundational piece, but TE Elijah Arroyo is the primary dynasty breakout candidate. Fleury's history suggests Arroyo's athleticism uniquely positions him to have a massive jump in value this year.
Offensive Line-
Trench Competition. The team missed out on early interior line draft hopes, but Schneider managed to trade a 2027 fourth-round pick to move back into the fifth round and draft OG Beau Stephens (Iowa) at #148.
- Impact:
Stephens is a rugged run blocker who dominated at the Senior Bowl, and he will immediately add much-needed competition for RG Anthony Bradford. Bradford is arguably the only weak link on the line. But do not count him out on having improved his game by the time camp comes around.
Defense (D/ST & IDP)-
The "Dark Side" Reloads. The defense lost stars like DE Boye Mafe, CB Tariq Woolen, and SS Coby Bryant, but HC Mike Macdonald and GM John Schneider perfectly targeted their replacements, though they hesitate to use that word.
- The Draft:
The Seahawks drafted SS Bud Clark (TCU) at #64 to replace Bryant. Clark is an "interception machine" (15 career INTs) and a perfect schematic fit. At #99, they grabbed CB Julian Neal (Arkansas) to replenish the size and length lost by Woolen's departure. The team also added three more late-round lottery tickets in CB Andre Fuller, NT Deven Eastern, and CB Michael Dansby.
- The Big Free Agent Splash:
Because they waited until after the draft, the Seahawks were able to sign veteran DE Dante Fowler Jr. without it affecting their compensatory pick formula. Fowler is a massive addition who already has history with defensive line coach Aden Durde. For IDP leagues, note that Fowler's pass-rush win rate (14.1%) and true pass set win rate (20.9%) actually outperformed Boye Mafe last year in fewer snaps. This edge group might even be more potent than it was last season.
2026 Seattle Seahawks: Buy/Sell/Hold
