The Super Bowl LX Champion Seahawks have had Organized Team Activities (OTAs) giving us our first glimpses of the rookies mixing with the veterans, and the defense received some massive news regarding its superstar edge rushers.
Here is my updated June fantasy and dynasty outlook for the 2026 Seattle Seahawks.
QB-
The Darnold Stability. QB Sam Darnold continues to be the unquestioned leader of this offense heading into the summer. I am not tired of reporting that he navigated the playoff gauntlet with zero turnovers and earned his Super Bowl ring.
- Roster Status:
Darnold (Starter), QB Drew Lock (Backup), QB Jalen Milroe (Developmental Backup).
- Fantasy Perspective:
Darnold remains a high-floor, low-ceiling QB2. With Brian Fleury taking over as Offensive Coordinator, the team will remain run-heavy and rely on the defense. Dynasty managers should continue to stream him in favorable matchups, but his fantasy ceiling is capped.
RB-
A Wide-Open Camp Battle. First-round pick RB Jadarian Price is officially in the building, but the coaching staff is not handing him the keys to the kingdom just yet.
- Roster Status:
At OTAs, Price has been splitting reps with RB George Holani, indicating a true competition is brewing. RB Emanuel Wilson has missed some OTA time for personal reasons but is heavily in the mix. To make room on the 90-man roster for undrafted free agents, veteran RB Cam Akers was released. RB Zach Charbonnet was seen working on the field four months post-reconstructive surgery, though his full return timeline remains a question mark.
- MiniCamp Update:
Wilson has returned to mandatory minicamp and was a major standout. Reporters noted his patience, vision, burst, and good hands as a receiver. Price also had a nice showing, demonstrating his explosion, vision, and growing decisiveness.
- Fantasy Perspective:
Head Coach Mike Macdonald confirmed both Price and Wilson are playing well and carving out interesting roles. Reporters now believe the competition for the first back on the field will be a legitimate three-headed race in training camp between Holani, Price, and Wilson. Furthermore, the team worked heavily on the screen game, which could become a major weapon in this offense and boost the PPR value of whichever back secures the third-down role.
WR-
The Richest Room in the NFL. WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba's market-resetting 4-year, $168.6M extension is fully inked, making him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.
- Roster Composition:
The Seahawks surprised many by matching the Jacksonville Jaguars' offer sheet for WR Jake Bobo, keeping him in Seattle for the next two years. The team views him as the long-term "power slot" heir to WR Cooper Kupp, and the two have been working out together extensively. Not to be forgotten, deep-threat WR Rasheed Shaheed continues to make plays and looks incredibly fast on the field. WR Tori Horton is expected to be ready to practice right at the beginning of training camp or shortly after. This solidifies the depth chart behind JSN, Kupp, and Shaheed.
- Fantasy Perspective:
JSN is locked in as an Elite WR1 for years to come. Bobo is a fantastic dynasty hold, as Cooper Kupp will likely be off the books next season, opening up massive snap opportunities for the young blocker/receiver.
TE & FB-
The Blocking Bruisers. OC Brian Fleury's heavy 12 and 13 personnel packages are going to be a nightmare for opposing defenses to stop.
- Player Analysis:
TE AJ Barner and TE Elijah Arroyo remain the primary fantasy assets, but keep an eye on undrafted free agent TE Nick Kallerup. He has the potential to be the best blocking tight end in the NFL and was heavily involved in the playoff run. Furthermore, FB Robbie Ouzts has been a star at OTAs, even catching a wheel route down the sideline from Darnold on the first play of team drills. Mike Macdonald explicitly stated that Ouzts is being asked to learn more of the route tree, line up in different places, and become a bigger part of the offense, rather than just predictably lining up in the stacked I-formation like last year.
- Fantasy Perspective:
While fullbacks rarely carry standard fantasy value, Ouzts' expanded receiving role in a 12/13 personnel-heavy system makes him a very interesting deep dynasty stash.
Offensive Line-
The Right Guard Battle. With LG Grey Zabel and the tackles locked in, right guard is the spot to watch. While RG Anthony Bradford missed an OTA practice, second-year RG Christian Haynes stepped in to take first-team reps. This is going to be a fierce training camp battle. Additionally, the team signed veteran OT Bobby Hart because OT Josh Jones is not practicing, an absence that seemed to visibly frustrate Macdonald.
Defense (D/ST & IDP)-
The "Dark Side" Secures the Edge. The IDP landscape for Seattle shifted dramatically over the last few weeks with two massive pieces of news.
- DE DeMarcus Lawrence Returns:
The veteran game-wrecker officially confirmed he is not retiring and reported to OTAs. His alpha energy and elite run-stopping grades are the glue of this defensive line.
- DE Derick Hall Extended:
The Seahawks locked up their heir-apparent on the edge, signing Hall to a 3-year, $42M extension ($46.5M max, $21M guaranteed). Hall had an elite 22% true pass set win rate last season, outperforming the departed DE Boye Mafe and new addition DE Dante Fowler Jr..
- Fantasy Perspective (IDP):
Between Lawrence returning, Hall securing a long-term deal, and the addition of Fowler, this edge group might actually be deeper and more potent than the unit that won the Super Bowl. Derick Hall is a massive IDP buy.
- The Secondary Shuffle.
The secondary provided the biggest minicamp revelations so far. Veteran CB Noah Igbinoghene was a massive standout on Day 2, playing physical, tight coverage all over the field and showing out in the weight room. Conversely, Macdonald admitted that the three rookie cornerbacks (CB Michael Dansby, CB Julian Neal, and CBAndre Fuller) are "swimming a little bit" with the speed of the NFL.
- Fantasy Impact:
IDP managers should not expect the rookies to push for snaps early on. Igbinoghene, however, is a versatile veteran who looks poised to carve out a significant role and could be a sneaky IDP addition if he secures sub-package snaps.
2026 Seattle Seahawks: Buy/Sell/Hold
- BUY: Derick Hall (He got paid and his advanced metrics suggest a double-digit sack season is coming) and WR Jake Bobo (In deep dynasty leagues, stash him before Kupp's eventual departure).
- SELL:
Sam Darnold (It's still Fleury's run-first offense).
- HOLD:
RB Jadarian Price (The talent is immense, but the OTA rep-splitting means you'll need to be patient).
- STASH:
FB Robbie Ouzts (His expanded receiving role and growth in the route tree make him a unique deep dynasty asset in 12/13 personnel-heavy systems).
- Bonus Stash
(we are the champions after all): TE Nick Kallerup will earn lots of time on the field with his blocking skills and showed flashes of fantasy value throughout the playoffs last season. Can he parlay that into something special?
Go Hawks!
End.
