Another quiet month in Cowboy land as we prepare for the start of training camp in July. One major news item is that WR George Pickens will NOT be holding out and should be a full participant in training camp. This is great news and removes a potential source of drama in the off season.

RB Jaydon Blue has been receiving good reviews and could be in line to be the backup running back this season. He could be the lightning to RB Javonte Williams’ thunder.

The most important issue is whether the defense will be improved. According to players from the offensive side of the ball, the defense seems to look better. Nobody will know until there is a body of work to evaluate. Given the quality of the offense, an average defense would make this team a viable playoff contender.
