Rookie Quarterbacks – The rookie class as a whole isn’t something to overtly excited over in general, but especially the quarterback position. The top prospect is a player that had one year of success in college and by many NFL Draft pundits own admission he’d be the #4-5 quarterback in most other classes. Also, Fernando Mendoza (LV) is heading to a team with a lack of offensive weapons to throw to outside of Brock Bowers. You will simply need to be patient with him since the Raiders also signed Kirk Cousins to start for them this season in preparation for making Mendoza wait…that leads to the second quarterback taken, which was a bit controversial, Ty Simpson (LAR). Simpson is most definitely a wait and see prospect since he’s sitting behind the current NFL MVP and will need to wait a year...
