2026 PSDG: Strength of Schedule: The RBs (Preview)

Looking over the final team defensive rankings against running backs from last year in terms of fantasy points allowed, a few things stand out. First, two divisions were particularly stingy against running backs: the AFC West and the AFC South. Three AFC West teams, the Broncos, Chargers, and Chiefs, finished in the top 6 against RBs (only the Raiders finished in the bottom half at 21st). Not good news for backfields facing these teams twice, or for AFC East or NFC West teams who must play all four of these units. Quietly, almost as tough, the AFC South proved stout against running backs, with all 4 teams finishing in the top half and 3 in the top 10. The Titans at 14 should be a better unit than last year under head coach Robert Saleh, who has brought toughness to the defensive side of the ball wherever he has...
