NFL.com reports free-agent WR Deebo Samuel has re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers. He gets one year worth up to $7 million.
Mike's View:
This move is not surprising at all, considering the fact that the knee swelling issue for WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) could require surgery that would cost him all of the 2026 season. While WR Deebo Samuel is not the player he once was, he fits like a glove in HC Kyle Shanahan's offense. He knows the system and can be used as a runner too to keep RB Christian McCaffrey fresh. Just one day after moving rookie WR De'Zhaun Stribling up in our rankings, I'm moving him back down, since the addition of Samuel no longer will hasten his development.This is a Premium FF Mastermind Article.
